Employee Spotlight:  Betsy Bryant

Accountfully believes people are greater than numbers, and we are on a mission to prove it.  We enjoy featuring our eclectic employees with a spotlight that shows the world a bit more about them behind the outsourced accounting scenes.  

Betsy Bryant has been with Accountfully since 2021, climbing the accounting ranks and spreading fun vibes everywhere she goes.  While she spent her college years in our town headquarters of Charleston, SC, she is now a permanent fixture in our Nashville office.  She entered the profession of accounting because of her love of organization and numbers and earned a degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the College of Charleston.

Let’s take a peek into Betsy’s background and behind-the-scenes interests, which somehow seamlessly combine the likes of old-timey English fanfare and Hank Williams, Jr.  Read on to learn more.

Betsy’s role at Accountfully 

Betsy is a Senior Accountant in the Nashville office.  She is the chief Nashville team wrangler and notes one of her prime responsibilities as “chillin’”.

“The people! I appreciate and respect my peers, and have been able to make some great friends along the way”

Work-related accomplishment(s) that Betsy is proud of

Getting promoted!  Betsy’s hard work did not go unnoticed as she elevated her role to Senior Accountant after her first year or so with Accountfully.

How Betsy Unwinds at the End of the Day

Simply some takeout and an episode or two of “The Real Housewives of New York.”

Nickname

Betsy is the nickname!  

If Betsy was an animal she would be

Not many would choose a slimy amphibian, but this one seems to track, knowing Betsy.  She says,

“A frog. I would love to sit on a lily pad all day, only hopping around when needed, maybe catchin’ a few flies here and there.”

While she won’t decline the invitation, she likely won't participate in full capacity.  Betsy’s opinion of Karaoke is not great, however, under duress, she does have a song choice worth sharing.  She says,

“You will not catch me singing karaoke. I have horrible stage fright. If I have to choose, Midnight Rider - Hank Williams Jr.”

Where Betsy would go in her time machine

“Late 1700s, early 1800s England. I would love to go to a Jane Austen-esque ball just once.”
