Liz grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and started her working career as an operator for an answering service. This evolved to more interesting roles, like saving her co-worker's life by averting an out of control plant cart in a garden center to helping those whose second language is English communicate better across the team through tech. Once she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Temple University, her career steered away from plant and life saving endeavors into more numbers-related roles.
Well into her Senior Accountant role, Liz still supports us with her problem solving and techy skills. She has been known to spot some pretty sketchy fraudulent emails, mitigating risks to the company and clients well ahead of time. She is also active with our remote book club. Let’s learn more about this well-rounded team member below!
Liz began her Accountfully journey in July of 2022 as a Staff Accountant. In 2024, she was promoted to Senior Accountant. She is based in Sellersville, Pennsylvania.
“I've always liked numbers and problem solving. When I was studying for my Bachelor's, I found myself enjoying my accounting classes the most and decided to lean into that aspect of my major as I looked for jobs.”

On her off time, you can find Liz reading a book or going for a walk. We are fairly certain that she does not do both at the same time.
Her nieces and nephews get all the credit for making Liz chuickle.
“I saved an employee's life once, but that story may not be social media appropriate.”
Remember that note about the runaway garden cart? That’s the one.
Mitigating fraud at Accountfully is not her first tech rodeo. She was a key player in supporting her Spanish-speaking colleagues at a previous job.
“At my last job, I trained and implemented a computer system for timekeeping with a workforce that half of them English was their second language and some were completely illiterate. Being able to teach them how to use it and have some of them use it better than employees who didn't have a language barrier was rewarding.”
“My coworkers are great team players and always bring a positive and uplifting attitude to our accounts.”

Who knew Liz was a Swifty. When asked who her hero is she simply states, “Taylor Allison Swift.”
Technically Liz is a nickname but she has also been called Riz, Rizzerd and Rizzard of Oz.
“Probably a cat, I can be sweet and nice until someone tries to touch me and then I bite.”
“Probably the 80s to go to as many concerts as possible.”
