Nolan grew up in the Oil-centric Texas town of Houston and started his accounting career crunching numbers for a small oil and gas company. However, accounting was not the only endeavor Nolan was interested in when embarking on his college career. He was pursuing a degree in Biomedical engineering. We have more questions about this choice and a few other fun facts Nolan shares with us. Let’s dive in.
Since April of 2023, Nolan has been supporting Accountfully clients remotely as a Staff Accountant. He is our only team member currently based in our capital of Washington, D.C.. He also supports our Inventory Department, where he works on inventory-based clients using Cin7 Core inventory management software.
Nolan graduated from Texas A&M, and majored in Accounting after giving up on Biomedical Engineering. According to him, the choice was simple;
“I liked numbers and job security.”

Here's where we disagree. Since Accountfully has two Nolans, we unofficially have dubbed him “Nolan I.” We think that counts as an official nickname.
