Word has it that it was a high school business teacher who influenced our remote Senior Accountant, Rachel to choose accounting as her career. Once decided, Rachel obtained a business major with a double concentration in Accounting and Human Resources from Colorado State University. After years of supporting small businesses and startups with their accounting, it is safe to say she plans to remain in the accounting industry.
Rachel specializes in helping new Accountfully clients assimilate into our accounting systems and processes as part of the Onboarding Team. This role allows her true love for streamlining and organizing to shine.
Rachel is a Senior Accountant on the Onboarding team.
“I'm on the onboarding team so I help new clients at the firm clean up their books and streamline them into our processes. I'm also the payroll implementation specialist and help launch new clients onto our payroll system, Gusto, as needed.”
Recently I've helped our firm put together some learning and development process docs for our team. I love to organize and streamline processes!
Rachel grew up in Denver, Colorado, and has now settled much further south into a quaint suburb of Dallas named Heath, Texas. She lives with her husband, dogs, and young daughter. At the end of a long day, Rachel appreciates a relaxing walk with her dogs and child in tow.
“I love to go for a walk after work with my one-year-old or my doggies!”
“My favorite part of working at Accountfully is my coworkers and the culture. Everyone here is so nice and personable. It's a great culture of people who work hard but also have fun.”
My Mom. She’s a badass.
A Sea Turtle. I love the ocean and the beach.
Anything Britney Spears or Spice Girls.
"I've always worked in small business accounting–I love working with and helping startup businesses and entrepreneurs. That's another reason I love working at Accountfully!"
